Spring break art camp in Chattanooga gives your artist four days of making while school is out. Pick mornings, afternoons or all day at Creative Art Place, our East Brainerd studio.
When spring break camp runs
Spring break dates follow the school calendar. Hamilton County Schools lists spring break 2027 as March 22 to 25, so that's the week to keep in mind while we finish planning.

Four days, your choice of hours
Camp runs Monday through Thursday. Pick the morning session from 9 until noon, the afternoon session from 1 until 4, or stay from 9 to 4 with a packed lunch.
When a holiday lands in camp week, camp moves to Tuesday through Friday instead.
What campers make
Camp is a chance to dig into the studio's whole toolbox: watercolor and acrylic, soft and oil pastels, clay building and hand building, collage and mixed media. Past campers have built sculptures from tubes and recycled materials, and modeled clay birds with striped legs.
Jennifer's approach is to start with the basics and layer on new materials and techniques, and camp is no exception.
A small camp in a full studio
Our camps are small, and the studio is chock full of supplies. That combination means every camper gets room to try things: a bigger brush, a lump of clay, a new color mixed by hand.
Spring break art camp is a good fit for kids who already love our weekly classes, and for kids trying the studio for the first time.
Our spring break art camp in Chattanooga follows the same four-day pattern as our summer camps, so kids who've tried one already know how it works. A morning or afternoon camp is $175, All Day Camp is $350, and every supply is provided.
Care before and after camp
Working through spring break? Add beforecare from 7:30 am or aftercare until 5:30 pm, for all four days or just one.
Before and aftercare together for all four days is $50, and either one on its own is $30. Single days are $15 for both or $8 for one.

Camps run Monday to Thursday. When a holiday falls in camp week, camp runs Tuesday to Friday instead. We never run camp on weekends.

Once in a while a camp needs something out of the ordinary, like an old pair of shoes. We'll always tell you ahead of time.
Before and after care
Beforecare runs 7:30 to 9:00 am. Aftercare runs 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

The fine print
Camp cancellation policy
Because our camps are small and often sell out, each registration reserves a space specifically for your child. For that reason, we are unable to offer full refunds once a spot has been held.
30+ Days Before Camp Start Date
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the camp start date will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
Within 30 Days of Camp
Cancellations made within 30 days of camp are not eligible for a refund. However, if we are able to fill the spot from our waitlist, we will issue a studio credit that can be used toward a future camp, class, or event.
Camp Cancellation by Creative Art Place
If Creative Art Place must cancel a camp session, families will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another camp.
